SELLING AT TABLE TOP SALE IS REALLY EASY IF YOU STICK TO A FEW GOLDEN RULES

  1. Thank you for your interest in selling at The Glasgow Table Top Sale. Please read these instructions in full. • The sale is limited to the number of sales plots available and will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. • Stallholders will be allowed access from 10.am for Clydebank Shopping Centre, doors open at 11am to 3.30pm. Set up time for Balloch indoor and outdoor Table Top Sales is 10.45am. Doors open to the public 11.30am to 3.pm The set up of stalls must be completed no later than 11.am for Clydebank Table Top Sale  and Paisley Table Top Sale set up time for sellers is 10.15am The public will be admitted from 11. am for Clydebank and Paisley. Doors will close to the public at 3.30pm for Clydebank and Paisley. 3.pm for Balloch, clearing up must be completed by 3.45.pm for Clydebank and Paisley and 3.15.pm for Balloch. Please contact us for more info. To secure your booking at any of our events Sales plots payed within 48 hrs of booking your tables will be £18 for Balloch Table Top Sales and £25 for Clydebank and Paisley Table Top Sale. You will have to bring your own table and chair for The Paisley shopping centre as they do not supply any tables for me. Tables are approximately 3 meters in length by 2 ft in width. You may also have a maximum of 2 clothing rail for £3 each on display immediately behind your stall or at the side (Clothing rails are not provided). feel free to bring them • Items must be clean and in good condition. Sellers will be requested to remove all dirty/ worn out items from the sale. • All sellers should familiarise themselves with local Trading Standards advice on what can/ cannot be sold. In addition, the following items are not to be sold at this event; o Glass or china items o Crash or bicycle helmets o Electrical items (battery-powered items excluded) o Faulty or incomplete goods. • It is your responsibility to price your goods and to take home all unsold items and any rubbish at the end of the sale.  
  2. The sale organizers [Glasgow Table Top Sale] will monitor the sale at all times and can reject items deemed unsuitable. • If a seller does not comply with the above rules, [Glasgow Table Top Sale] reserves the right to refuse the sale of their items at this sale or future sales organized by [Glasgow Table Top Sale]. • Disclaimer; [Glasgow Table Top Sale] accepts no responsibility or liability for the quality or condition of items purchased at this event. Purchases are made entirely at the individual’s own risk. [Glasgow Table Top Sale] accepts no responsibility for sellers’ or buyers’ property on the sale day and accepts no liability for loss or damage.
  3.  Always arrive in plenty of time to set up your stall.
  4.  Plan the way you load your car ready for the Glasgow indoor markets events, so when you unload your car everything comes out in the right order to be placed on your stall.
  5.  Make Sure to pack refreshments, as you might not get the chance to leave your selling table.
  6.  Try to bring a friend and share our FB page about this way we will get more buyers. Having someone there to take over your stand gives you a chance to also do some Bargain hunting on the day. if you need to do something this is a   great tool.
  7.  Make sure you have change. You don't want to be turning away sales because you can't give the correct change.
  8.  Keep your money with you at all times in a money belt, so you're always ready to make a sale.
  9.  It is your responsibility to look after your personal belongings keep them with you at all times.

Pets

Pets are welcome at Glasgow Table Top Sale, however, owners are advised that they are legally responsible for their animals.
No Littering
Bins are conveniently located inside the Halls please clean up as you go along, please use them.
Safe Parking and Disabled Parking

Strictly No Counterfeit Goods
It is illegal to sell counterfeit goods anywhere in the UK and Glasgow Table Top Sale is no exception.
Fire Arms, Knives, Tobacco, Alcohol and Controlled Substances
Unless fully licensed to do so, with permission from and the Glasgow Table Top Sale organizers, it is strictly forbidden to sell any of the above items and any items that may fall into the above categories.

Bookings and Cancellation policy

All bookings MUST be payed for on the time of booking as this helps with advertising and promotional purposes with local news papers, venues etc. We need min 10 sellers for our events to go ahead if we do not get enough sellers and you have payed for your table you will receive a full refund or can have the option on this occasion to move to another table top sale.  

 

We have a No Refund Cancellation Policy. This means that if you have paid for your table at an event and you wish to cancel your booking, then no refund will be given. We try to keep the table costs as low as possible, to benefit our sellers and cut on administration costs. We do not transfer from one event to another.

​Tables sell out fast, so if you need to cancel your booking please give us 24 hours notice. Our policy is you still need to pay for your table if you are cancelling within the 24 hrs before the event, we can then let our other Sellers know who are on our reserve list. By Sticking to these rules, you help to make Glasgow Table Top Sale a safe and enjoyable place for people to buy and sell their items.
